“Yes - customer service is abysmal, and Shoebuy is the reason I will probably never again buy shoes online. They would not accept a return on some expensive hiking boots (fit was poor on me, and they had a defect). It turns out their return policy is very, very restrictive. I bought a different pair at a local brick and mortar merchant, where I could try them on, and who had a liberal return policy. This was more expensive, but I didn't waste money on shoes that I couldn't wear. Buying at a local store will be the route I go in the future. Learned the hard way that great online deals aren't always what they're cracked up to be.”
